PUNK’D

I blame Donald Trump’s candidacy on Ashton Kutcher. For six years he showed how gullible people were and the viability of catching much of America’s captive attention to showing people reacting to and believing the most outrageous scenarios. Is that not Trump’s candidacy in a nutshell.

It reminds me of a Richard Pryor joke in which he tells of being caught cheating in bed with another woman by his wife, with the retort “you gonna believe me or your lying eyes.” Many of us are waiting for Ashton to jump out the bushes and finally reveal to the American public that we have all just been Punk’D.

We are unsure what’s taking him so long, but Ashton despite the phenomenal ratings, this has to be a cruel, elongated joke on us. No grown, sane man, with no tangible proof of any kind, can be running for the highest office of this country and proclaim weeks prior to any actual voting “that if I do not win the election is rigged and the system is corrupt.”

The system is corrupt and slanted toward keeping established people in power. The system is rigged in making and creating a status quo that enables the rich to get richer, the poor to become poorer and those in the middle struggling to change their circumstances significantly.

We have seen actual evidence of politics potentially rigging the election as late as 2000 with Florida’s Republican Attorney General ruling against certain votes counting in a state that the Republican nominee’s brother was the Governor of the disputed state that ultimately decided the election by a grand total of 537 votes.

The system is far from perfect, but even a cynic cannot just proclaim, minus any real evidence that the American political system as a whole, is presently compromised and full of corruption. Voter suppression, through felony disenfranchisement and created identification laws is much more of a real and tangible issue than any widespread voter fraud.

Yet, here we have a candidate, prior to one physical vote being cast, declaring over and over again that if he loses its because the system is rigged against specifically him and somehow fraudulent…Ashton, you started this Punk’D stuff…you need stop BS’ing and come out from some curtain and admit this was all just part of the new show.

Assuming that Trump does not win, how long before you think it’s revealed that he is going to start his own television network?Perhaps that is the real Punk reveal. His station (undoubtedly with the name Trump in it) will be FOX News Network 5.0. All signs are pointing to the setup. Trump’s brand as a licensor (cause in reality he does not actually develop any properties) has been so damaged by his campaigning that he is going to have to look for alternative new revenue sources and I am starting to believe that if not the original goal, it became the hedged play to exposing himself on this level.

Think about it, the man that had built and engineered Fox News, Roger Ailes is no longer there. Most of the networks most popular and controversial anchors that seemed uniquely loyal to Ailes would no longer have impediments to moving elsewhere. Trump would of course be his own networks biggest star, “unchained” by fact checking or the silliness of truth to spew his ideology to an audience that has been vetted for its known existence and want to hear such rants.

I am not Negrodamus, but a setup as clear as this does not take an ability to predict the future, only an understanding of a mass manipulators ability to monetize any situation.
